Leif Koch A / S
Our vision is clear. We want to ensure a stable and efficient water distribution - nationally and internationally. We know our craft and with more than 40 years in the industry, have seen how leak detection helps to reduce water loss in the drinking water pipe network.
We believe that proactive leak detection is an important piece of the puzzle of the future for sustainable water resource management. We share IWA (International Water Association) concern about the current situation and we these challenges when working on projects abroad.
Global issue! - A problem worldwide
“Political, industrial and environmental leaders from around the world consider the lack of water security to be a risk of high impact and high likelihood, affecting global supply chains, regional stability and economic performance. Combined with the effects of floods, droughts and climate change, water insecurity is perceived to be one of the most significant risks of the world today and in the near future. The continued rise in global population coupled with changing diets and rising levels of consumption force us to acknowledge that we face a global water challenge of an unprecedented nature. ”
In step with urbanization and a rising middle class worldwide, we are seeing increased pressure on water supply genes. Climate change with rising temperatures, as well as pollution, means that the water resource is under pressure. Water is our most important natural resource and it is important that we take care of it. This can be done by smart and intelligent solutions in the water distribution network. We will and we can reduce water loss from leaks. Together we take care of the water.
